Birdsmouth Tile Trim profiles in Sydney Airport Terminal 2

Birdsmouth profile tile trims by Amark Group were installed throughout Sydney Airport Domestic Terminal 2 in its recent renovation to take the terminal from drab to fab.

The renovation was planned to make T2 lighter, brighter and provide a better experience for travellers.

The versatility of Birdsmouth tile trims

Exclusive to Amark Group, Birdsmouth profile provides a cleft square finish to tile external corners. It protects tile edges, at the same time forms an elegant finishing touch to the corners of columns or the joins between walls and ceilings.  

With more than 540m of trims in matt black installed throughout the main parts Sydney T2 Terminal, the Birdsmouth tile trims are a sharp design contrast to the overall lighter colour scheme of the newly renovated airport.

Sydney T2 Renovation: create better travellers experience

Sydney T2 is used by Virgin Australia, Jetstar and regional airlines. With heavy traffic throughout the terminal, the renovation was planned to improve passenger flows and reduce clutter.

With upgraded flooring, columns, lighting, ceiling finishes, along with “enhanced wayfinding”, updated bathroom amenities, and additional retail outlets, the renovated T2 is aimed to give travellers a much better experience going through the terminal.
